It failed to start, the RAC said engine turning over, problem is with the starter motor (batt brand new). Changed starter motor, but still will not.

On a 2004 jaguar x type awd why do the rear wheels spin and not the front?trans and transfer case are out of car and there in nothing broken. when up on the rack all wheels spin but front wheels are easily held still, by hand. i know the torque split is 60 rear 40 front but it feels like there should be more power behind the front wheels
I remember reading that a jaguar x type with all wheel drive should come from a manual jaguar. Oh course those are hard to come by. Fastcougar attempted this and found out later that a maunal jaguar would have been the best choice to use.

Posted January 20, 2016 (edited) Just had nsf and nsr bearings replaced, now have intermittent abs activation when just touching brake pedal. Abs warning light then comes on and brakes return to normal.diagnostics showed all sensors failure plus abs pump and modulator.
