Unableto Assign Handbrake (Please Help!) I have just got Assetto Corsa and would like to know where I'm going wrong here. Handbrake is assigned to my space bar on both the Keyboard and Wheel Secondary areas. Still it would not work so I opened up the controller config file and moved the "0x20; SPACE BAR" to the " [HANDBRAKE]" section from
Clearlyit's not as good as using a dedicated steering wheel, but it's not awful by any means and I have had reasonable success with it. In order for the above setup to work, I need to use the CUSTOM controls in AC since the XBox control preset doesn't recognize the pedals or allow mapping the steering to the gyro.

Workaround It worked after changing the following in C:\Users\YourProfile\Documents\Assetto Corsa Competizione\Config\controls.json. Find the "Controller (Xbox One For Windows)" string and the line "isGamePad". I changed the value from 0 to 1 and started ACC in VR mode again. The Xbox controller worked now!
ThrottleNot Working in Certain Modded Cars. So my throttle pedal seems to work just fine on all cars from the base game. Including most cars from mod packs. But for example, the No Hesi Spec BMW M5 E60 seems to not have any throttle input at all when I use it on my own server. But I can use it just fine in solo games.

Have tried having the wheel connected before starting game, after starting game, restarting game, changing usb ports, restarting GHUB, and even reinstalling the game.
Redoyour settings for the pedals. Delete /documents/assetto corsa/cfg. Now open the game and in the Controls menu assign everything manually, all the axis, buttons, ffb settings. The g27 pedals should have the inverted box ticked. Then just select 900º under steering axis if your wheel supports it.
