Colours. First of all, there are two basic kinds of colours in heraldry: tinctures and ores. Ores are the metal colours; yellow (gold) and white (silver). These are not actually metal paints, as there was no such thing, but rather the colours that were thought to represent the metals. Any tips on speed painting? Trying to work through a Grey Knights combat patrol but I take about 1 hour or so for a single model. Any way to speed it up? I use this guide and it gets me through my stuff pretty quickly. I do my mine in 5 model batches and it seems to work well enough.

Grey Knights are relatively easy to paint so you should be fine. Honestly, you can just prime them in Leadbelcher from Citadel and you’re 75% done, pick a silver or aluminum to either dry brush or edge highlight over it.
